Global Jobs for Maritime Jobs launched

The new SEANEXT online job portal is a one-stop solution for global maritime recruitment, connecting vessel operators to a large pool of seafarers around the world looking for employment. The versatile platform for all maritime jobs offers users a variety of functions, aimed at simplifying the recruitment processes in an increasingly competitive labor market.

“Some ranks have always been smaller than others, with senior ranks generally more difficult to fill than junior ranks. In the future, it will become increasingly important for employers to expand their recruiting activities to as many regions as possible to cope with any shortage of supply for particular nationalities or grades. SEANEXT allows recruiting companies to access a unique database of potential candidates around the world, enabling them to find exactly the right candidate for the job, ”explains Anil Raghav, Managing Director of SEANEXT.

The employment website makes it easy for recruiters to track candidates and the data they provide using readily available search filters. Additionally, the platform helps HR departments streamline communication by offering integrated messaging to track candidates and schedule appointments such as first interviews. Dashboards that provide the recruiter with information on recruiting activities help companies measure the effectiveness of their recruiting processes.

“The industry expects the costs of crew and manning operations to increase as an immediate consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the tightening of supply conditions for seafarers in general. With SEANEXT, recruiting companies can eliminate some of the tedious and time-consuming steps of finding the right candidate, as well as reduce unnecessary paper traces, increasing the overall efficiency of their recruiting process and thereby reducing costs, ”concludes Raghav .

More than 600 sailors have already registered on the platform. It is free for seafarers looking for a job. Employers looking for suitable candidates are given a free six-month trial period and can opt for a paid subscription at the end of the period.
