BLOOMINGTON, Ind .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Today, Cook Group announced the appointment of Nicky James as Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Development. With this announcement, Cook Group continues to invest in its employees. James will focus his efforts on developing a strong pipeline of people who support the long-term vision and goals of the company.
During her tenure at Cook, James successfully held a number of leadership roles within the company that prepared her for this new role in Human Resources.

In his new role, James will further develop Cook’s workforce, engagement and change management strategies to attract and retain employees who match the unique culture of the company.

In 1998 James began his career with Cook Medical as part of the Urology sales team in the Midlands and North West UK. While in Europe, she held positions such as Sales Representative and Regional Director of Urology for Northern Europe. In 2006, James moved to the United States to take on the role of Global Product Manager, followed by a National Sales Manager position for North America. James headed two of Cook Medical’s business units and was part of the executive management of a third business unit. The 20-year Cook Medical veteran will now oversee all human resources functions for Cook Medical and its parent company, Cook Group.
